Privacy Policy

Who this policy is from

EvDev Studios, LLC is an Ohio limited liability company. This policy explains what happens to information collected through evdevstudios.com, our company website.

It does not cover our products. House Rules Cards has its own privacy policy at rules.houserulescards.com, and that document governs anything you do inside the app.

What we collect

This website has no accounts, no login and no shopping cart. There are two ways information reaches us.

• The contact form. When you submit it we receive the name, email address, subject and message you typed. Nothing else is attached to it.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records ordinary request information such as IP address, user agent, requested path and timestamp. This is standard operational logging used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse.

What we do not do

• We do not run analytics on this website.
• We do not run advertising or tracking pixels on this website.
• We do not set marketing or tracking cookies.
• We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Your light or dark theme choice is stored in your own browser using local storage. It never reaches our servers and it identifies nothing about you.

Why we use it

Contact form submissions are used for one purpose, which is replying to you and keeping a record of the correspondence. Server logs are used to operate and secure the site. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and running a working website, and on your consent where the law requires it.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers, and they only process information on our instructions.

• Vercel hosts this website and produces the server logs described above.
• Resend delivers contact form submissions to our inbox as email.
• Google Workspace hosts the mailbox those messages arrive in.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

Contact correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to have the history, and no longer than three years from the last message, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Server logs are retained on our host's standard schedule, which is measured in weeks rather than years.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, or to withdraw consent. This includes rights under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, and under the CCPA in California. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Email admin@evdevstudios.com and we will handle the request. We will not treat you differently for making one.

Children

This website is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.

International transfers

We operate from the United States and our providers process information there. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
